Inspectomatic Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Inspectomatic (“Inspectomatic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you access or use our platform and related services (the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information, such as your email address and authentication-related information.
  • User-submitted content, including uploaded inspection reports, repair proposals, notes, and property address information.
  • Generated output data, such as categorized repair items, estimated repair ranges, provider references, and saved reports.
  • Terms acceptance and account settings data, including timestamp, version accepted, marketing email preferences, IP address, and user agent.
  • Technical and usage data, such as device/browser information, IP address, timestamps, and basic interaction logs needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • analyze uploaded documents and generate report outputs;
  • save reports and account history for authenticated users;
  • send authentication, password reset, and service-related communications;
  • send optional marketing communications, subject to your preferences;
  • monitor usage, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and protect the Service; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers and infrastructure partners that help us operate the Service, such as hosting, database, AI model, mapping, storage, email, and authentication vendors. We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary course of operating the Service.

The Service relies on third-party vendors and APIs. Those providers may process information on our behalf to enable document analysis, authentication, storage, password resets, and location/provider lookup features. Their handling of data is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain account history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Uploaded documents and saved reports may remain stored until deleted by us or by the user where such deletion functionality is offered.

6. Your Choices

You may update certain account settings, including your marketing email preference, through the Service. You may also change your password using available account tools. If you would like us to delete your account or data and a self-service option is not yet available, you may contact us using the information below.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy
